“In a way, the lockdown has impacted upon me probably less than other folk, because I’m a key worker, so I’ve been going to work as normal. That, coupled with my almost hermit-like existence, means that it’s business as usual in a very unusual world, which is consequently very unusual.
The key things are not having the normal interaction with friends and family. You don’t know what you got until you lose it, said John Lennon once…so true.
I’ve been working on a lot of music, but that’s a given. I’m always doing that. I’ll send you a Dropbox download link to a rough and ready version of our next as yet unfinished next album, tentatively titled, SlipTones. I’ve become pretty adept at cutting my own hair – I bought some clippers a couple of months ago and have been perfecting my style. It’s become a bit of a habit, so I’m thinking of carrying on doing it myself.
